USE: Spring water capture is used for the collection of water from springs in high altitude places. Water-tight construction prevents the ingress of surface and of flood waters into the capture during stormy weather.

ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT: Pipe fittings for capture (inflow), outflow, complete emptying and overflow. The container is equipped with an access opening, cover and an air duct which are all protected against unlawful entry.

OPERATION: A clay insert redirects water from the spring into the capture. In the first compartment, solid particles in the water sink to the bottom and the pre-treated water is then routed over the weir and filter to the user, water storage tank or drinking water reservoir. The capture is also protected against freezing by means of thermo-insulation. The cover and an air duct are protected against unlawful entry.

INSTALLATION: Captures are suitable for underground installation under surfaces with or without vehicular access. The surrounding area of a cover has to be cleaned, so that there is no possibility of ingress of solid particles into the reservoir.
